I'm Alex Brown I am a freshman engineering student at Michigan State University. Currently I'm in materials engineering, but in my second semester I plan on taking a civil engineering class to help me decide on what I want to major in. Currently I'm just a student trying to figure out what I want to do in life. I like to understand how things work, and like to figure out and explain to other people how things work. The whole point of this blog is basically to help others, and myself learn and understand what engineering exactly is, what engineers do, and what you can do with a major in engineering.
My name is Erik Berg, and I am currently a freshman Computer Science student at Michigan State University. Ever since I was a little kid, using computers has been my passion. Before I even knew how to read I was using Google, going on websites, and using some software programs, all without any help from adults. In elementary school I was coding using HTML and CSS, and later on in middle and high school I began using actual programming languages like Java, Python, and C#. I hope to continue and expand my knowledge of programming and software development during my time at MSU.
I am Panashe Mayangamutse: a lover of music and tacos, a friend, a sister, a great listener and an Electrical Engineering major at Michigan State University. When l am not scribbling in my journal, l am trying to solve engineering problems and I have always wanted to bring engineering and writing together. That is why I will use this blog as a platform to help me explore the world of Engineering and how it affects the world. This blog will also help other prospective engineering major students to understand what engineering exactly is .Through sharing information we will be able to address some of the engineering field related myths.
My name is Hongyuan Xue and I am from China. As an international students, there must be various difficult challenges for me. It's my second year at MSU.
